Five key things: real battery SoH (not the seller's claim but a measurement), vehicle history by VIN, the car's origin and number of owners, condition after any accident (paint thickness) and hardware version (AMD Ryzen vs Intel, heat pump on 2021+ facelifts). We verify exactly these on every car β and as a standalone service we'll check them on a car you're buying elsewhere too.
SoH (State of Health) expresses how much of the original battery capacity is still alive. The battery is the most expensive part of an EV β and its condition depends more on how it was charged than on mileage. A Tesla with 140,000 km and SoH 92% is a better buy than one with 60,000 km and SoH 84%. That's why we measure SoH with a certified AVILOO test on every car.
Nordic cars live in better conditions: roads are treated with gravel instead of aggressive salt (no underbody corrosion), cars are garaged and properly serviced, batteries are used to gentle charging, and Swedish registries are strict and public β vehicle history cannot be rewritten.

Expect a 20β30% loss versus summer range. A Model 3 Long Range (WLTP 560 km) realistically does 380β430 km in winter, the Model Y similarly. Facelift models from 2021 have a heat pump that significantly reduces winter loss β which is why we prioritise it when selecting cars.
